Studio Sessions
In these drawing and sculpting classes, you’ll learn the timeless techniques of the Old Masters, including the sight-size method for precise proportions, constructive drawing to simplify complex forms, and the magic of light and shadow to create depth and realism. Whether you’re just starting out or want to sharpen your skills, this thoughtful, meditative approach will help you create artwork that feels both personal and polished.
With my classical training and time spent studying in Italy, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. I’ll offer personalized feedback, hands-on demonstrations, and plenty of encouragement to help you grow as an artist. Learning in my studio means you’ll get to work in a historic mill from 1869. This creative space is filled with light, materials works in progress, and that special energy only an artist’s studio can offer. Together, we’ll build your confidence, refine your skills, and connect to the inspiring tradition of classical drawing and sculpture.
* Complimentary materials are Included with a one month sign-up
I recommend starting with a foundational drawing class before the first sculpture session. Choosing the right course length depends on your goals and how deeply you want to dive into the techniques and processes of classical art. If you're looking for a brief introduction and a taste of the process, the 2-hour session is perfect for a quick overview and hands-on experience. For those ready to explore the foundations in more depth, the monthly course offers consistent learning with the opportunity to refine your skills. If you're committed to mastering these techniques and want sustained mentorship, the 3-month course provides an immersive experience with personalized guidance every step of the way.
